This was an “assignment” we got through the camera club I was a member of. And it was before the days that I (thought I) was uncomfortable in front of the camera. And before the days ─believe it or not─ that I actually had a four-year stint as a professional model with a modelling agency.
I didn’t want to be in front of the camera. So I weaseled my way out of the assignment by making this image.

I don’t think it’s actually all that bad. It’s me… I’ve always been in the background. It’s where I’m most comfortable.
